~ COMMISSION AN ICON ~

A Commissioned Work is an eternal gift to your Church, one that lasts through time and is cherished by your entire community. You can make such a gift individually, with a group of parishioners, or in coordination with your church. The icon is tailored to your specifications, including the size, theme and decorative elements.

Once a work is commissioned and written, it can be reproduced in limited edition quantity after basic modifications. For churches, these reproductions can be sold and used to finance the creation of the original commissioned work.

Pricing of Original Icons largely depends on the theme and size of the piece chosen. Themes can range in complexity from Single Figures to Single Figure Scenes to Traditional Scenes and Complex Scenes. Another factor relates to the framing for the piece (see pricing and style charts).

If you would like to commission an icon, please complete an application form. We will contact you about the details and the timeline. Creating an original icon to specifications is a lengthy process, which normally takes between 6-10 months. Due to limited time available in our schedule, commissions may take longer to complete.
